The process of purchasing our transmissions is simplified with a step by step process to ensure the correct transmission is shipped to the customer.

1. Customer places order either online or by phone.

2. Customer service representative processes an order sheet with complete information about the customer’s vehicle. This usually requires additional communication with the customer.

3. Shipping method is determined, coordinated and a delivery date established. Notification to the customer is sent by e-mail or telephone.

4. Delivery is coordinated by the freight line company contacting the customer unless company delivery or customer pick up.

5. Purchasing of the transmission includes 4 hours of technical support at no additional cost to the customer. Prior to the customer installing the transmission we request that the customer contact customer support for a short briefing on installation requirements.

6. Core returns are not required on all transmissions. Required core returns must be picked up by freight line company or delivered to our distributor within 30 days from date delivered to customer. Coordination of core pick up is executed by our customer service.

WARRANTY

There are two warranty options as follows:

1. Sales price purchase of the transmission includes a three year or 108,000 mile warranty replacement of the transmission and torque converter.

2. Lifetime Warranty is an additional cost of $250.00 for most transmissions. This warranty is only transferable upon approval by us. Warranty is good for as long as the customer owns the vehicle.

3. Warranty certificate is mailed upon completion of installation and return of core.

Transmission Specifications

Transmissions are 100% remanufactured with the most current updates. Remanufacturing includes the following:

1. Transtec Transmission Kits.

2. Borg Warner or Raybestos New Frictions.

3. High Performance Waffle/Smooth type frictions are installed upon request for an additional cost.

4. Pump and valve bodies are remanufactured with all updates.

5. Solenoids and Sensors are remanufactured to the highest quality (We strongly recommend the remanufactured vs. new).

6. New Bearing and Race as required.

7. New Bushings and Thrust Washers as required.

8. Remanufactured steels.

9. New Sprags.

10. All clearances do not exceed .030 and are no less than .015 unless required.

Experience

Experience is a word some use to indicate they are experts. Stating “I have 30 years experience in transmissions” doesn’t really mean a person is an expert with the current technology and updates. Continuous education is the key to staying current with the transmission industry. Our focus is to continuously research and validate the current transmission technology so that we produce a quality product to the best of our abilities. It is not possible to have 30 years experience in remanufacturing a 2008 transmission. However, it is possible to remanufacture a 2008 transmission with the proper resources, current experience and updated education.
